The units of competence in this qualification will be taught and assessed in clusters. All units must be successfully completed in order to achieve the qualification.
Classroom training typically takes place over 18-24 months with 78 weekly sessions, a two week break at end of year and supported by tutorials at the end of each unit to assist students in completion of assessments. If students are working in a suitable environment or have barriers to attending class they may undertake distance learning.
The course may be completed over a period of 12 months and a maximum of 24 months, according to the method of delivery and learner’s needs. Typically students who are not able to regularly attend face to face classroom session can take longer to complete units.
