HLTAID004 is a new unit of competency called Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting. The unit is ideal for educators, support staff, carers and parents.
This full day session is designed specifically for educators and support staff working within an education and care setting and satisfies ACECQA requirements for first aid, anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma training. This class covers all the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to any infant, child or adult including the use of all 3 mannequin types during CPR. This certificate has 3 year validity.
The Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) has endorsed HLTAID004 as satisfying all educator requirements for first aid, anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma training - as outlined by National Regulations.
On successful completion of this course, students will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.
